From 8 to 15 October 2025, the global plastics and rubber industry will meet in Düsseldorf for K, the world's most important trade fair for the industry. Preparations for K 2025 in Düsseldorf are in full swing. The exhibition space is already fully booked a year in advance. A number of new and established special shows are planned under the motto ‘The Power of Plastics! Green - Smart - Responsible’. As the industry's leading trade fair, K 2025 aims to provide a complete overview of what the industry has to offer worldwide.
Companies from all continents are registered to present their innovations to trade visitors. “Next year the Who’s Who of the plastics and rubber industries will be back again in Düsseldorf. We are very pleased that even companies who had suspended their participation in 2022 as a consequence of the pandemic, are now back on board again,” says Thomas Franken, Director K, Portfolio Plastics & Rubber. Placement discussions are currently underway before the K 2025 exhibitor database goes online in January.
Key topics: circular economy, digitalisation and responsibility for people and the environment at K 2025
At K 2025, the focus will be on trends and innovations in the areas of the circular economy, digitalisation and responsibility for people and the environment. This is reflected in both established and new special shows. Foremost among these is the official special show ‘Plastics shape the Future’, which is being organised by Plastics Europe Deutschland. Next year, the VDMA will once again present a comprehensive forum in the outdoor area, this time entitled ‘The Power of Plastics’.
K 2025 to once again feature Start-up Zone for young companies
The Start-up Zone celebrated a successful debut at the last K. To offer as many newcomers as possible who are dedicated to developing new products and solutions in the field of plastics and rubber their own presentation area, it will be continued and expanded in 2025. Start-ups still have the opportunity to register for the Start-up Zone.
At the Science Campus, universities, colleges and institutes will present the latest results of their plastics research. A new concept for the Science Campus offers exhibitors the additional option of presenting themselves in the Science Campus Center.
Special offer for young talent at K 2025
A new offer is also being developed for young visitors and young professionals to introduce them to the diversity and attractiveness of the industry. In addition, there will be a networking event specifically for women in the plastics and rubber industry to promote the exchange among themselves, strengthen professional networks and make female leaders in the industry visible. Both formats will celebrate their premiere at K 2025.
