"Accelerating Integrated Energy Solutions" - this is the goal of "The smarter E Europe", Europe's largest trade fair alliance for the energy industry. In the context of a sustainable energy world, the focus is on renewable energies, decentralisation and digitalisation as well as cross-sector solutions for a sustainable energy supply 24/7 in the electricity, heating and transport sectors. The innovation platform combines the four trade fairs Intersolar Europe, "ees Europe", "Power2Drive Europe" and EM-Power Europe.

The event will take place from 7 to 9 May 2025 at the Messe München exhibition centre. The associated conference starts one day earlier on 6 May 2025. The smarter E Europe offers exhibitors and visitors the entire spectrum of energy industry topics. The four trade fairs under the umbrella of "The smarter E Europe" each have a clear technical focus. By organising them at the same time, they reflect the links between products and topics that are so important in the energy industry. The trade fairs, conferences and forums share one vision: an intelligent, sustainable and networked full supply of renewable energy around the clock, at any time of year. The focus is on renewable energies, decentralisation and digitalisation of the energy industry as well as cross-sector solutions from the electricity, heating and transport sectors. Renewable energies and networked energy systems are closely linked to the goal of climate neutrality and the reassessment of security of supply. There will also be special areas for "Start-ups @ The smarter E Europe" and the Green Hydrogen Forum & Expo.

Review of "The smarter E Europe 2024": Energy platform breaks all records

After three days of trade fairs and inspiring conferences and forums in June 2024, Europe's largest trade fair association for the energy industry once again set a new record: 3,008 exhibitors from 55 countries presented their latest product developments and applications for a continuous renewable energy supply in a total of 19 exhibition halls and an outdoor area covering a total area of 206,000 square metres. Around 110,000 trade visitors from 176 nations discussed new solutions. New records were also set for the conferences and accompanying events: more than 2,500 participants from all over the world attended this year. This means that "The smarter E Europe" has once again succeeded in becoming even bigger and more international and demonstrating the full potential of renewable energies.
